LYYDS is an independent design practice rooted in ecological narratives of Southeast Asia. We work across garments, textiles, spatial and making experiences. Nature has been designing longer than any of us. We help you notice more. Available for commissions and collaboration for brands, institutions, and anyone who believes what we wear and inhabit should mean something.

The studio was founded by Lydia Kok, a multidisciplinary designer with extensive experience in textile design and development across the fashion industry. A graduate of the Royal College of Art’s Masters in Textiles, her practice is guided by a simple but rarely followed principle. That nature holds more structural intelligence than any brief. LYYDS is how those beliefs take form. In cloth, in colour, in space, in the act of making together.
